Christopher Hogan and Andrew Huffer, Two University of Rochester Medical students have teamed up to launch a Healthy Hero Initiative for the Riverflow Soccer Club.

Both volunteer coaches from the boys U17 Travel Team have spear headed this initiative through creating a web page on the Riverflow Website that encourages healthy eating and life style choices.

"The goal of this initiative is to create in atmosphere of healthy life style choices amongst all Riverflow players and parents," says Christopher Hogan.  Information on this web page includes the food pyramid, physical fitness, off season training, and tips on injury prevention.

5210 Be a Healthy Hero

"In today's world, eating right and being physically active can be a challenge for kids of even the most health-conscious families. 5-2-1-0 is an easy way to remember some basic health tips that are good for every member of your family."
